The Vision
The architects' core concept was to create a private sanctuary, a refuge for the owner amidst the breathtaking 360-degree views of the sea and forest. This vision led to a circular structure, a shape that embraces the landscape while offering a sense of seclusion.
Embracing the Landscape
What makes House Kala particularly fascinating is its harmonious relationship with the environment. The reddish-brown plaster, inspired by the local soil, blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings. This choice of material is not just aesthetic; it reflects a deeper connection to the land and its traditional building practices.
